Still Alive, just tired of fighting

Nobody worry, nothing bad happened to me up here in the North.   I've decided to go all Malcolm Reynolds and make my goal to live life at sea, and whenever the grip of the Police state widens, I just sail a little farther out.  Sorry I don't have anything more profound to say after all this time, escape to complete self-sufficiency just seems like a better option than attempting to impotently fix all the injustices in this country.  Hell, I can't even fix glaring injustices in my own small town.  I'm not denouncing citizenship, I'm simply escaping, only to come back to visit from time to time.  After all, that seemed to be the goal all along.

Illinois Woman beg the state for protection

In Arlington Heights Illinois, one attack a week on female joggers has spurred some media attention.   It has also exploited some of the illogical reactions Illinois citizens have in general to criminals.   We're going to look into a few precedents, and show the opinions of the people, and see how they are in contrast.

1st precedent:  Warren v. DC (1981) This ruling secured that "... police do not have a duty to provide police services to individuals, even if a dispatcher promises help to be on the way..."

2nd precedent: Castle Rock C. Gonzales (2005) This ruling further stated that Police don't have a duty to provide police services, even if you filed the appropriate restraining orders.

What these rulings ultimately mean is that no one has a duty to protect you, not even people you pay to do that very job.   Even if they stamp the phrase "To protect and serve" on their car.   I'm going to level with you... You've been lied to, and police protection is anything but protection.

So back to the article:

""We walk, so I won't be walking early morning for a while," said resident Chris Dix.
Police plan to add extra patrols. But despite that one woman says until the attacker is caught, she won't feel safe.
"Unless they start doing something to make things safer for women, I won't come back," she said.""

I have to level with you Chris Dix and random woman resident, you are the only person responsible for your safety.  The police use guns to protect themselves, at this point in time the police will still charge you with a felony if you attempt to exercise your right to defend yourself with a firearm, in this light, the police are not there to protect you, but to hinder your efforts to protect yourself.  It is immoral, unethical, and just plain unconstitutional.  I would say at this time your very enemy are the police you are turning to in order to ask for protection that they know they have no duty to provide.  Even with that said, until you, and millions of people like you accept your responsibility, and take actions to protect yourself, you will always be a potential victim, and you will always be afraid.

Drop your cigarette butt become a felon!

In another obvious ploy to make every citizen in Illinois a convicted felon that would be ineligible to own firearms, Illinois has passed a law that makes it a class B Misdemeanor to throw your cigarette butt on the ground punishable by a $1500 fine.   2nd offense moves it up to $2500, and your third offense would be a Class 4 Felony punishable by a $25,000 fine and up to 3 years in jail!  

"I think it's a good idea, I think will keep our city cleaner, m a smoker myself and I think it will curb my appeal for throwing them out the window, I really don’t have $1,500 bucks laying around,” says Jacob Wilson.
The second time you're seen tossing a cigarette butt, the penalty is a fine up to $2,500. A third offense is a felony and you could spend up to three years in jail; some Stateliners say that goes too far."

this law was passed based on the false information that cigarette filters are not biodegradable.   In fact, they are, here is some evidence:

Our filter tips are biodegradable over a period of between a month and three years, depending on environmental conditions. Although we are researching more rapid breakdown, at present we know of no practical way of making consumer-acceptable filters that would degrade so quickly that they would not cause short-term littering problems.

So there you have it... do something a liberal doesn't like, and men with guns will rob you again and again, then eventually throw you in a cage.

Brutal Thugs Chain and Beat Woman

A group of brutal thugs kidnapped, chained, and beat bloody for hours Jacklyn Miranda.   In new court documents, the thugs have been identified as members of the most dangerous Chicago gang, the Chicago Police Department.  The terrible crime this woman committed was that she assisted shooting victims but didn't see the faces of the people who shot them.   Later that day, the gang members went to her house and intimidated her to sign off on mugshots, but she refused, claiming she didn't want to implicate a potentially innocent person, because she didn't see their face.  Her mother asked the gang members to leave, and not to bother Jacklyn anymore.

Shortly later, two of the Chicago gang members saw Jacklyn walking to a bus stop.   They took her phone, and taunted her about not being able to call her mother for help.   Then they used metal bondage devices to restrain her while they kidnapped her.   They took her to a secret room where they chained her to a metal ring in a concrete wall.   While she was there they got continually more abusive, starting with obscenities, and threats.

One gang member flaunted his special gang training, claiming he could use his advanced techniques to force her to make false statements.  
    

    "Plaintiff told the defendant that his pressure could not make her tell a false story. At that, the defendant struck plaintiff across her face with his open hand. Plaintiff began to bleed.     "When the defendant officer opened the door of the interrogation room to leave, plaintiff saw other officers outside. Seeking their help, she called out that she had been hit and was bleeding.     "The defendant came back into the room, closed the door behind him, and threatened plaintiff, saying that if she did that again, he would 'lay her out' and make it look like she had come at him. The defendant proceeded to tighten the handcuffs multiple times around plaintiff's wrist, asking whether plaintiff understood him. He then informed plaintiff that he had done this sort of interrogation before.     "Plaintiff said that since there were cameras in the room, people would know what he was doing to her. The defendant responded with words to the effect of: 'You stupid bitch, the cameras are off in this room. No one cares what happens to you.'"

In an attempt to gain freedom, she bargained with the thugs, she told them she would come back, and look at a line-up of men, and implicate somebody.  

They released her, and followed her to a restaurant where she met a friend.   They both observed that they were being watched/followed, so they escaped through the back door of the restaurant.  

The gang members continually go to Miranda's house asking for her, and have now moved on to threatening to bind up, kidnap and torture her friends if they did not disclose her whereabouts.

The Chicago Police continue to operate at large as one of the most notorious gangs in America.

The Police hate you and want to kill your dog too.

Interesting article in the Tribune that states while all police seem to want to kill your dog, Chicago police are 5 times more likely to do it than a Los Angeles Police officer.

"In Chicago, 488 animals — the overwhelming majority of them dogs — have been shot fatally and nonfatally by Chicago police officers since 2008, according to police review authority.Los Angeles Police Department officials say officers there have been involved in 95 shootings of dogs since 2009. New York Police Department officials attribute 94 of these types of shootings to their officers from 2009 to 2011, the latest available year for statistics.
Some Chicago-area dog owners who have had encounters with police believe that officers are too quick to resort to lethal force."

They don't shoot your pets to protect themselves, they shoot your pets to emotionally abuse you.    The shooting of dogs as some type of emotional attack on the people that own them is the act of the worst kinds of sociopathic monsters to ever walk this planet.

Another Report of police torture to get a confession

James Edwards has sued the city of Waukegan alleging that Police officers tortured him to get a confession.   Allegations of Torture included:

• Picking him up by the neck and slamming him against a wall
• Repeatedly putting painful pressure on his jaw.
• Pressing on his temples as to cause severe pain.
• Grabbing his scrotum and yelling "Here is your attorney"

As you recall this is not the first case I have reported on.  While this case is from 1996, in 2005 Jerry Hobbs was accused of murdering his own daughter.   DNA evidence in both of these instances are being used to prove the men are not guilty of these crimes.

When men in positions of police power abuse their power in such ways, it calls into question everything they've ever done, and the rationality of ever following an order one of these monsters might give a citizen in the future.

Dangerous Standing Armies

Illinois, and other places have been training their standing armies for tyranny.   The most recent training was in small-town Tinley Park Illinois, a place I used to frequent for outdoor concert events, is now home to noises of a different nature:

"Residents said they heard “bomb” noises from about 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Tinley Park police received about 25 calls from residents who were either fearful or angry, especially in the wake of the bombings in Boston last week.The urban warfare training at the former Tinley Park Mental Health Center was expected to use small explosives to blow doors off hinges, local authorities said. A second training exercise at the former mental health center is planned for tonight, this time with helicopters, police said."

As you recall, Thomas Jefferson listed many grievances that King George III did to the American people... let me know if any of these things sound familiar:

"He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harrass our people, and eat out their substance." [1]

"For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent: " [1]

"He has kept among us, in times of peace, Standing Armies" [1]

"He has affected to render the Military independent of and superior to the Civil power." [1]

Some other historical figures weigh in on the situation as well: 

"A standing military force, with an overgrown Executive will not long be safe companions to liberty. The means of defence against foreign danger have been always the instruments of tyranny at home."[2]

"to keep within the requisite limits a standing military force, always remembering that an armed and trained militia is the firmest bulwark of republics — that without standing armies their liberty can never be in danger, nor with large ones safe"[3]

"And that the said Constitution be never construed to authorize Congress to infringe the just liberty of the press, or the rights of conscience; or to prevent the people of the United States, who are peaceable citizens, from keeping their own arms; or to raise standing armies, unless necessary for the defense of the United States, or of some one or more of them; or to prevent the people from petitioning, in a peaceable and orderly manner, the federal legislature, for a redress of grievances; or to subject the people to unreasonable searches and seizures of their persons, papers or possessions."[4] 

"Standing Armies have ever proved destructive to the Liberties of a People, and where they are suffered, neither Life nor Property are secure."[5]

I've said it before, and I'll say it again.   YOU are the ones paying these standing armies, and they are not making you safer.   Demand their removal, and demand your courts switch from their current roles as tax collectors, back to their real purpose, which is protecting the rights of the people.  We can all stop this tyranny, if we all just refuse to pay for it.

Violence in Chicago goes far beyond guns

Many have focused on the rampant gun violence in Chicago.   Those with a Pro-Gun opinion blame the strict gun laws that prevent normal citizens from carrying a firearm to protect themselves.    Those with an Anti-Gun opinion blame the ease of access to firearms in America for the large amounts of gun violence. 

When it comes to Chicago, you don't need to look far to find multiple examples a week of people being beaten, or bludgeoned to death.   This is significant, because it shows that Chicago has a violence problem, not a gun problem.    Actively stigmatizing guns as bad things, and passing laws that keep the citizens disarms are just two tactics Chicago has used to make sure criminals have a never-ending supply of helpless victims.  As you recall, Eric Holder claimed we needed to "brainwash" people into not liking guns.   I still can't help but realize that guns are tools, much like hands, hammers, and bats; In the right hands, they are good, and in the wrong hands, they are bad.   But as long as I keep reading articles like this I will never be convinced that we need to control ANY tools:

A woman was found dead in a West Side park Sunday afternoon, authorities said.

Janice Prince, 49, of the 7900 block of South Hermitage Avenue, was found with signs of trauma to the head in Douglas Park

Unarmed citizens robbed by teenage mobs in Chicago

Multiple victims of robbery, assault, and battery were reported in Chicago this weekend.   CBS-2 reports that up to 500 teenagers gathered and committed mob violence against shoppers along Chicago's magnificent mile.   There have been no reports detailing the severity, and scope of the disruptions.  I assume the Mayor, and Chicago Police are attempting to downplay the incidents, but here is a small indication of how severe it was:

Later that night, a man was attacked around 10:45 p.m. while walking near Chicago and Dearborn. Sources said he was jumped and punched in the face by a group of teens. He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

There is no additional information about motive, or property loss.   This is another example of how our mainstream media has failed to provide enough information about a significant event.

Get that 11 month old's motherfucking hands up!

Police in Chicago took it upon themselves to expand the zone of a raid to include the apartment of an innocent family.   They busted in, and screamed at everyone to get their hands up.   One Officer was very vexed that an 11 month old wasn't putting his hands up where he "could see them", even when he was angrily pointing his gun, so he shouted fierce expletives like "MotherFucker" at the 11 month old, which given the age of the child leads me to believe the Chicago Police don't even know the meanings of their own derogatory vernacular.   After terrorizing the couple, and 6 children, the Police informed the couple the next day when they went to complain that the correct time to file a complaint was that same night, even though they requested a supervisor that same night, whom never showed up.     Also, the Police killed their dog.    Interesting read though.

     "Defendant Officers John Doe 1-8 burst through the door to the first floor apartment dressed in army fatigues and pointing guns at Charlene and the children. The officers yelled at Charlene and the children to 'Get on the ground!' The officers referred to Charlene and the children as 'm---f---ers' numerous times.     "Afraid of the guns being pointed at them, Children #1, 2, 4, and 5 ran to a back bedroom in fear of the officers. In response to the defendants' order to 'Get on the ground!,' Charlene got down on the floor. A defendant Officer told Charlene to 'Put the baby down' so Charlene set Child #3 down beside her. The officers yelled at Charlene to get Child #3's hands where they could see them.     "After attempting to show the officers that the eleven-month-old's hands were empty, Charlene asked the officers 'What is this about?' To which they replied 'Shut the f--- up.'"     Samuel Holly says he asked the police what they were doing, and called the 111th Street police station asking for a "white shirt" to come explain the situation, but no supervisor ever came to the house.

The Chicago Police are definitely being severely affected by that budget problem they complained so much about.   So much that they admitted they would not be responding to 911 calls... but the budget is apparently good enough for them to mount EXPENSIVE raids on innocent families with expensive gear, and guns.   If I could give the people of Chicago any advice it would be this:   Buy lots of big scary semi-automatic rifles, and stop paying your property taxes, the Police aren't coming to help you, so if they show up at all it's to arrest or extort money from you.   If you don't pay your property taxes, the Police will not get paid, and in short time won't have the resources to show up at your house to tell your 11 month old to get his "motherfucking" hands up, or kill your dog.

Chicago Police shoot store Owner 11 times

I can't write this story any better, so here's a lot of shameless quoting:

"CHICAGO (CN) - Chicago police shot a store owner 11 times after armed gunmen robbed him, then handcuffed him to his hospital bed and harassed him to cover up their "gross misconduct," the businessman claims in court.     Bassil Abdelal sued Chicago and two Officer Does in Federal Court, for excessive force, false imprisonment, assault and battery, wanton conduct, conspiracy, civil rights violations and negligence.     "The City of Chicago followed its 'code of silence' to protect and cover up the gross misconduct of Officer Doe 1 and Officer Doe 2 who fired eleven bullets into plaintiff, who was unarmed, did not aim any gun at the police, did not fire at the police, and posed no threat to the police," Abdelal says in the complaint.     Abdelal owns B&B Beauty Supply, on the West Side of Chicago."

Racist brochures used for training

North Chicago police are under scrutiny for allegedly using racist brochures in their Citizen Police Academy.   The Sun Times reports that:

On one page, comedian Dave Chappelle appears as Tyrone Biggums, the stumbling junkie with crack residue around his mouth.
On other pages of an official North Chicago police handout, a smiling African American man is handcuffed in an orange prison jumpsuit and another is portrayed as bug-eyed and slack-jawed in a mugshot. The handout — given to participants of the new North Chicago Citizen Police Academy last week — was intended to illustrate trial procedures. It had a much different effect.

Federal Court denies Illinois concealed carry ban... again

Illinois has been fighting to keep this from happening.   In December a Federal court gave Illinois lawmakers 180 days to make legal the concealed carry of handguns.   Illinois of course is fighting this tooth and nail.   The results however did not go in their favor:

A federal court on Friday delivered a major victory to gun rights supporters, denying a petition to rehear a December ruling that declared an Illinois law prohibiting people from carrying concealed handguns in public unconstitutional.

Illinois should get used to this kind of disappointment... it suits them.

Gun Bans off the table in Minnesota

According to a report in the Minnesota Star Tribune, there will be no so-called assault rifle bans, or magazine restrictions in Minnesota this year.

"The assault weapons ban and high-capacity magazine ban proposals are highly divisive,” said Latz, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee. Legions of concerned gun owners turned out for three days of hearings on gun issues last week, and Latz said such bans also do not have strong support from law enforcement.

IL senate failed to take your rights, this time.

The Chicago Tribune reported today that the Illinois Senate lacked the votes necessary to pass their broad and unconstitutional assault weapon and magazine ban.   I suggest the citizens still hold the lawmakers accountable for the perjury they have committed, and Governor Quinn for the treason he has committed.

Keep your eyes on the modified HB 1263, and HB 815.  Particularly the unpublished amendment 7 of HB1263, and the unpublished amendment 3 of HB815.    Write your state senators and let them know their perjury, specifically the perjury of Senators Antonio Muñoz, and Dan Kotowski, should be punished.  Lawmakers not knowing the constitution or respecting the limitations of government is unforgivable and negligent.   If they attempted to do these things on purpose, that's tyrannous, but explains their fear of firearms.

Illinois lawmakers commit open treason

An Illinois Senate committee passes through strict gun restrictions, that go against the constitutional grain of all federal rulings on the topic.  The public health committee voted to go ahead with legislation that is intended to ban all semi-automatic rifles, AND pistols.   This committee is made up of the following individuals:

The news article quotes them as voting across party lines, so assume anyone with a D after their name, to have committed perjury of their oath of office.

The treason portion comes from Governor Quinn when he made this statement:

"There is no place in Illinois for weapons designed to rapidly fire at human targets at close range,"

However, author of the bill, Anthony Munoz, who is a member of the Police Union, supports the carrying of semi-automatic handguns, and M4 rifles by police.   This is an admission that the authoritarian powers of Illinois have declared open war on the citizens.   If what Quinn said was true, and semi-automatic weapons have no defensive purpose, and are only a close range rapid human killers... then why do they want the Police to have them?    If what Quinn said is true... the ONLY reason Police have them, is to rapidly kill citizens of the State of Illinois.  

If Quinn admits they have a defensive purpose for citizens and Police, then he's committed perjury by violating his Oath of Office, by violating the equal protections clause of the 14th amendment, and attempting to nullify the 2nd amendment.   Remember his Oath, in which he swore to defend the constitution of the United States of America, even the parts of it he doesn't like.

It's time to hold these Lawbreaker-makers accountable...  

Great news! Oppression might be reversing itself!

Today a Federal appellate court ruled that Illinois' complete ban on carrying firearms is unconstitutional, and gave Illinois lawmakers 180 days to pass new laws that don't ban firearms.   Expect severe resistance from the Democratic party of Illinois, which has replaced its humanity with an eerie strict adhesion to a non-party stance of being anti-gun.   

"The Supreme Court has decided that the amendment confers a right to bear arms for self-defense, which is as important outside the home as inside," Judge Richard Posner wrote in the court's majority opinion. "The theoretical and empirical evidence (which overall is inconclusive) is consistent with concluding that a right to carry firearms in public may promote self-defense."
He continued: "Illinois had to provide us with more than merely a rational basis for believing that its uniquely sweeping ban is justified by an increase in public safety. It has failed to meet this burden."

This victory was provided in part by the Second Amendment Foundation, this is a group that really deserves support, as they fight a majority of the legal battles that are reshaping the stigmatization of guns.    

Illinois Lawmaker jailed for Carrying in O'hare

Donne Trotter, Democrat, with a history of non-votes for gun rights is now probably regretting those decisions as he has been jailed for attempting to carry a pistol onto an airplane.   You may not remember but Trotter voted "present" in 1997 on a measure to reduce the charge of carrying a concealed pistol on you from a felony to a misdemeanor.   More recently this slimy worm voted for a large capacity magazine ban, outlawing magazines that hold more than 10 rounds.  Of course that large capacity magazine ban didn't apply to many groups:

22       Code and retired peace officers not otherwise prohibited
23       from receiving a firearm, in possession of a large capacity
24       ammunition feeding device transferred to the retired peace

Some of you may recall that the 2nd Amendment is quite clear, the right to keep and BEAR arms shall not be infringed...  however in Illinois it is a felony to bear arms in any manner, rights denied, tyranny wins.     Now a man who was in a position to make a positive change in that and didn't, is in and now out of jail for carrying an unloaded handgun through security.    The press so incompetently adds that his handgun had "a magazine clip with six bullets".   Someday, I'd like someone to explain what a magazine clip is... is it a clip that holds several magazines together?   

Don't get me wrong, I don't believe the man did anything wrong... except betray himself and the entire populace of the state of Illinois by making safe, party friendly non-votes on gun issues.    For that, he deserves to taste what the citizenry face every day in that wretched police state.

Their minds really just don't work right

I like to see what the opinions on the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence are like, so I "liked" the page on facebook.   I engaged in polite but dissenting discussion, so they banned me from writing comments on their page.   Silence any dissent, this is a very American idea is it not?   I'm going to use this space to document, and respond to some of their idiocy.  

From Quincy, Massachusetts:

Judy Coleman My part of the country is not as dangerous as the parts that allow concealed weapons.... maybe there is a correlation.

Judy Coleman never checked her facts.   If she had, she'd realize that her beloved state of Massachusetts has a violent crime rate of 428.4 per every 100,000 people via 2011 Uniform Crime Reports.    Illinois, another strict gun control state has a violent crime rate of 429.3 per every 100,000 people via 2011 Uniform Crime reports.   So let's compare this to my state, that allows a general permit to carry, meaning you can open carry, or conceal carry at your discretion:  Minnesota is HALF of the other two states, at 221.2 per 100,000 people via 2011 Uniform Crime Reports.   Montana is similar, as a state with strong gun rights, has a violent crime rate of 267 per 100,000 people.  New Hampshire, the state north of Massachusetts has strong gun rights, and similar demographics... their violent crime rate is  188 per 100,000!  These statistics seem to prove exactly the opposite of what Judy Coleman, the ignorant anti-gunner stated.   But she probably never thought to research her statements, who would do that?

Here's a trifecta from my opinion of a bully, and a repressionist:

This person believes that owning a gun, means that you want to live in the past, and in order to own a gun, you must give up modern conveniences.   My readership should be more intelligent than this.   Guns are a modern tool, and this person needs to learn to live with them, and respect freedom and liberty.    She also believes falsely that gun owners would shoot each other if all armed in the same room... I suppose that explains all the gun range massacres, right?  Oh yeah!  Those don't happen!   I guess the only explanation is that she doesn't have the appropriate capacity to think for herself or draw conclusions based in reality, and she is obviously a person who doesn't "know" too much about guns, as she also failed to realistically rationalize the outcome in Aurora Colorado had there been armed patrons in the theater.

This is just a venting post, been quiet lately, and because the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence is anti-liberty, they have no problems preventing intelligent debate on their page, thus proving they don't believe in the ideals of this nation, and they are really out to change it in a very damaging way.      

Metropolitan Enforcement Group Strikes Again

Reported on the News Sun, the Metropolitan Enforcement Group of Lake County Illinois has struck again.   Storming the house of a man with no contraband, they held guns to the faces of private citizens in their own homes.  

Architect Paul Brown was in the basement of his home at the end of Adelphi Avenue when he heard a “huge noise” Friday afternoon that drew him up the stairs where he was meet by gun in his face.
He was handcuffed and placed on a chair. And a gun was still pointed at his face.

Why a gun was pulled on a guy in his own home, and why it was still on his face while he was handcuffed is beyond comprehension.    When have we descended to a society where the "war on drugs" justifies actions such as aggravated assault, and criminal damage to property?   The police were reported as being angry the suspects were not guilty of something too!

“They were upset they didn’t find anything. When I asked them who was going to pay for the door they basically said, ‘Not us’,” said Brown, who noted the door on his luxury home was valued at $3,000 some 12 years ago and the lock set was another $130 from Home Depot.

Of course these actions simply end up costing taxpayers a lot of money.   So even if you support the war on drugs, you can't argue that it's not costing you money.

He has hired an attorney, Christopher Cohen, to look into filing a civil suit.
